I love "if it's love that you want" and "hold on"..... "groove" is killer too. I saw an interview with him talking about this song.He said it is autobiographical about so called celebrity "friends" who said he was great to his face (in the 80's) and then just laughed behind his back..... "..with all my so called friends saying i can do no wrong, putting money where there there mouth is took a little too long" Such a great song, U got the bonus track "i'm in it for love"? Awesome power ballad. Ironically it is proberly the best track off the album. This was good too

"sure lookin'" "my love is a fire" "take another try at love".....all first rate pop! Yea he came out with some excellent songs around that time i have never cared about if the artist is cool or not...if i like the song or album..i'll buy it! funny story about this album tho i used to hang out at this video arcade at the time this album was released and everyday there would be this head banger girl who always looked at me and smiled and i used to do the same but neither one of us had the nerve to go up to each other..so one night i brought a couple albums on casette with me because me and my buddy's went out cruising and i put them in my jean jacket front pocket...well we went into that arcade again that night and sure enough there was that head banger and her friends looking at me again only this time she started talking to me! and everything was going well we were getting along fine UNTIL one of her headbanger friends said "hey what tape ya got in your pocket?" i was trying to avoid her but she reached for my tape and pulled it out & yelled "OH MY GOD HE'S GOT A DONNY OSMOND TAPE IN HIS POCKET!!" and they all laughed like crazy and i was so embarrased and she never talked to me again after that night  ..but even through all that i still like the album Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3 | |
