"Tell Her About It" immediately comes to mind. I remember singing that song in a school play.

Not exactly a fan, but I do love 'We Didn't Start the Fire'. I can remember everybody my age memorizing the lyrics to the song (much like everyone did to 'It's the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine)').

I don't have an album of his but there are certainly songs of his I like.

I'd be hard pressed to name a bad Billy Joel song. My favorite albums of his are 52nd Street, Glass Houses, The Bridge, and River of Dreams. But they're all great, he was a very consistent artist.
Too bad he hasn't released an album in over 12 years.....

I like a few of his songs...
"Only the Good Die Young" "Just The Way You Are" "Big Shot" but for some reason,I can never really get into his albums. And I didn't really like much of his 80s output

I can't stand this third rate Paul McCartney wannabe. Never have, never will.
But I do like the SNL (or maybe MadTV) skit where they make fun of his driving. *****************************************

Yep, I loved and have all of his albums starting from The Stranger (1977) up until The Bridge (1986). There are great songs to be found on EVERY one, but my personal faves are "Glass Houses" and "Innocent Man" (now that was a fun album!)
I just realise... I have all of his stuff on vinyl only... not even one Billy Joel CD yet to be found in my collection Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

Billy wrote some great songs in his day. I like almost all his 80's work. His lyrics are truthful and realistic.
