Bowie's Space Oddity "ground control,Major Tom"WTF? Alright in English Lit today we described and analyzed the song to a tee...
now i was never very fond of this song, its no... "Lets Dance" but hey! we discussed it, and as a writer i finally got wtf he wa stalking about in the song. From a writers point of view the song is quite Incredibal Using a sense a Space age imagery, and great story telling i obviously misjudged this song... Ive grown to love this song! | |

I didn't get the song for a long time, untill I heard Bowie explain the metaphores in a documentary. I agree this song is very strong and well written. Ashes to ashes makes a fine sequel I think. It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis! | |
