Favorite/Most "Princely" Neptunes-Produced Songs?

Britney's "Slave 4 U" leaps to mind for me (VERY Prince-like rip-off/tribute to "Nasty Girl").

And I really enjoyed Kelis's "Milkshake." Any other faves out there?

702-"I Still Love You"

When these artists try to emulate Prince with their style/sound then they never go wrong. Look at the Neptunes, Andre 3000, 7 Aurelius, Van Hunt in many ways remind me of him, Martin Luther.

Prince is the best person to emulate.

Frontin' by Pharrell Williams

The critics were all over this, comparing Pharrell's falsetto to Princes.

Snoop Dogg "It Blows My Mind" (not to be confused w/ "Lets Get Blown")

The production minus the drum machine sounds like a Prince production. nod

I think "Frontin' " was a Princely song, with its skeletal funk reminiscent of something like "Kiss" or that era.

Pharrell said the song was actually meant 4 Prince, but nothing ever materialized, and he finally decided 2 release his own version.

The song sounds more like MJ than Prince. Remember the song, "I Can't Help It". The intro beat?

I think the Neptunes are great when they do songs with women that have a Prince vibe. "Slave 4 U" and "Sugar Honey Iced Tea" are two fine examples already noted.

Don't forget TLC's CrazySexyCool album.

Also they have a song called "Get Away" that leaked, very Princey.

I don't know this one. I only know their first album with "Steelo", the song Missy wrote over that Police loop, and there was some other slow jam.
