Beyonce was just put up there to attract the 99.9% of idiot moron kids who "learn" history (and actually believe it) from TV and movies instead of picking up a book, but what do you expect from a retarded generation that thinks being illiterate is cool and pick illiterate and ignorant manufactured ghetto monkeys like 50 cents and Snoop Doggy as a rolemodel...

wait, something else to bitch about....

Beyonce will pull triple duty at Oscars. She'll sing three of the nominated songs, alongside Josh Groban and Counting Crows by Gary Susman

AWARDS DIVA Look for Knowles all over the Oscars

There's no such thing as too much Beyoncé. That's apparently the opinion of the producers of this year's Oscar show, who've booked her to sing three of the five nominated songs at the Feb. 27 ceremony. She'll duet with Josh Groban on ''Believe'' from The Polar Express (a song Groban sang alone on the soundtrack), and she'll sing ''Learn to Be Lonely'' from The Phantom of the Opera, a song Minnie Driver sang over the closing credits. She'll even sing the choral tune ''Look to Your Path (Vois Sur Ton Chemin)'' from French film The Chorus, backed by the American Boyschoir. Also on the show, Counting Crows will perform their nominated ''Accidentally in Love'' from Shrek 2, apparently without any aid from Beyoncé. No word on who, if anyone, will sing the fifth nominated song, ''Al Otro Lado del Rio,'' from The Motorcycle Diaries. Still, we like the idea of Beyoncé as utility player; too bad the Academy didn't think of the idea a couple years ago, or they could have brought her in to rap ''Lose Yourself'' in place of no-show Eminem.

when you're faced with the Counting Crows being the best and most interesting musical act on your Oscar broadcast, Beyonce agreeing to do 3 numbers is a gift from God lol

She is an overly hyped singer, dancer and actress, writer. Anyone can write songs with no depth. I need a soldier, can u pay my bills, bootylicious (please) Her hype is seriously out of control. Believe it, if it wasn't for all the negative press for having 20 different ppl in the group, it wouldn't have gotten that far. To me she comes across as a fakea$$ b. At all times. Its like she can't be sincere. (Let me smile all through interviews, maybe they won't ask me too many ?"s) OH! and performing on stage w/ Prince, that took the cake. I personally still can't believe that one eek

yeah, me neither. Prince usually only appears onstage with washed-up has-beens from 30 years ago that need him to put out an album for them. lol

Paul Robeson was the epitome of the 20th-century Renaissance man. He was an exceptional athlete, actor, singer, cultural scholar, author, and political activist. His talents made him a revered man of his time, yet his radical political beliefs all but erased him from popular history. Today, more than one hundred years after his birth, Robeson is just beginning to receive the credit he is due.
