Trivia Question What was the 1st famous band in the rock era, which did not include a traditional bass player, to have a #1 hit record?
Looking for what would be considered a Rock, R&B or Pop band. Even if i'm wrong about this, i'm curious to see what answers come up. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all." | |

He never meant to cause you any pain. It's just his ROBOT way. ROBOT B-9 will respond: CLICK HERE Now you must visit the ROBOT. I'm pretty sure they at least had an upright bass player. But i'll leave it to the judges once i've revealed the answer I was looking for. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. The Rascals...
...Groovin' (#1 - 1967) from left to right Dino Danelli - Drums Felix Caveliere - B3 Eddie Brigati - Vocals Gene Cornish - Guitar Through this time period, the band had no bass player. Felix played the bass parts using the B3's bass pedals. *name correction edit (Technically, I think they calling themselves The Rascals at this point.) The Doors was the answer I figured most folks (ahem...mg) would pick. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm [Edited 2/3/05 11:46am] "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
