Deepest P-funk lyrics As a flipside to the"George Clinton's funniest lyrics", I was wondering what people thought were some of his deepest lyrics or titles. Some of my favorites:

"With the rhythmn it takes to dance to what we (black folks) have to live through, you can dance underwater and not get wet." That's one of the most eloquent and on target lyrics by ANYONE. It says SO much in such a short phrase, it's not even funny. George's lyrics and his concepts were crucial to blacks in the 70's. His concepts provided "escapsism", which were highly sought after. What gave Parliament their power, especially during 1975-1979, were their themes that always had spiritual overtones. Or more specificly, "church" overtones. That connected strongly with their audience. "Swing Down Chariot" and the landing of the mothership was nothing but spiritual. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz.
