"Tired Of Being Alone" by Al Green (1971)----this song was played constantly in our household,it's the first song I recall hearing as a child.
"I'm In Love" by Aretha Franklin (1974) "It's Impossible' by the New Birth (1971) "Backstabbers" by the OJays (1972) "So Very Hard To Go" by Tower Of Power (1972)---this song reminds me of my father teaching me how to swim...lol...it must have been on the radio by the pool. "Wishing Well" Tarence Trent D'Arby my mom would always play that for me. "When Doves Cry" for me and "17 Days" for my brother (12") "Cool It Now" - and the whole 'New Edition' album The whole 'Control' album Ready For The World Skeletons - Stevie Wonder My mom gave me my own record player when I was like 5 years old. It was a cute little suitcase. She let me play her "I Want Her" 12" by Keith Sweat on it for the first time.
