Both Supernova and Manki influenced me to check out (and enjoy)
Mandrill.

And Davideye's continual enthusiasm for EWF has made me appreciate them more.

Im sure Im forgetting a few...

I'd have to say the same about Mandrill. nod

For me, it's not so much about purchasing certain artists albums, as I have a lot of stuff already, but more about giving me the incentive to dig out someting I haven't heard in a while. I'm constantly being reminded by people here about albums I have almost forgotten about that I used to listen to a while back. biggrin Of course I don't have everything, so I'm always researching artists online or through books, etc. to find out about where they got started, what bands they used to play in, who they worked with and were influenced by, etc.

There are so many orgers that have influenced what I listen to. But I have to add that theAudience might have the most sway on me because he's like a walking musical encyclopedia, and he always posts the album covers and pics. lol

I am a visual person. biggrin

I think that everybody here reminds me just how much great music is already out there, which definitely helps when I think of most of the crap that's spilling out of the airwaves or acoss the TV these days...
...and although there is good music being made now, Man, do you have to search hard for it!! but the places like this forum make it a little easier biggrin ....

Yep, that's about the only Christmas jam out there that I don't have except for Bill Cosby's "I'm Your Santa Claus Baby". biggrin
