i read an interview with ?uestlove a couple summers back where he was saying d'angelo had gained a lot of weight and really resented the 'untitled' video and any sex symbol status he obtained, and was railing against it. he was also talking about how d'angelo had a lot of really good stuff ready to go...and this was in summer '03.
