Violet is a classic. One 4 the ages.

4-letters which make one word... one which probably frustrates Adamski (don't ask!) to this day... SEAL.

Is that because of the "Killer" track?

My favorites are the ones people don't know so well:

Come See What Love Has Done (from the Killer EP, 1992)
Deep Water (Acoustic Version) (from The Beginning CD-single, 1992, also now on iTunes)
Blues In E (from the Kiss From A Rose CD-single, 1994)
Someone Special (from a Christmas CD given out at Best Buy, 2003)
The Closing Of The Year (from the Toys soundtrack, performed with Wendy And Lisa)

And any of his other assorted acoustic / piano tracks (but not so much from the new Acoustic CD with the Hits).

His new music misses the rawness, the humbleness and the inspiration of his earlier work. I like his new stuff, and I'll buy anything he puts out, but listening to his music again recently I'm still amazed by how much is in tracks like Future Love Paradise. I was getting into him and Prince at the same time, and it took me a long time to realize that Wendy and Lisa were the same in both cases smile

Seal is brilliant. Period. He's done very little in his career I haven't loved. I really dig "Let's Get Together". U don't really hear him do very many straight up dance songs and I just love this 1.

how can that be?I can't imagine Seal not being good acoustically. He seems to be more of an acoustic artist in the first place. Hmmm....interesting.Are any of his tracks from the scrapped album available?

Love Seal. His new acoustic disc is great.

I don't like "Kiss from a Rose", but every album except the 3rd one is great. No matter how hard I try, I just can't get into that one.

Maybe, but also it's musically less organized than the others. None of the songs ever stick in my head when I hear them. Not that that is the measure of a good album, of course. It's just difficult to digest that 3rd album. His latest disc (IV) is great.

I'll check those tracks out. I kind of liked Colour when I heard it on the greatest hits disc.
