not everyone... just most of the people on the pop market today are heavily influence by her. and if she was voted the 51 most influnencual Jew last year and she' not even jewish i'd think she's got a big sway. least we forget she has been a tendsetter in fashion for 20 years.

Well, I think you just proved my point. Thanks! giggle

There's some Madonna-loving psychos on the Janet boards who think Control is a carbon copy of Madonna's earlier works. They have definitely drunk the Kool Aid.

most... is not all and control is more influenced by Prince than Madonna.
You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

MIGUELGOMEZ

Regardless if Michael is GUILTY or INNOCENT, nobody on this thread or in the world was THERE when and if this took place, just the alleged victims. So NOBODY can say if he did it or didn't. I don't care if he's a sweet guy, blah blah blah. Hopefully he's not guilty but I really am tired of people saying "He's not guilty" or "He's guilty".

That's true. The reason is because she was hugely successful from day one. Most artists are NOT headlining their own tours by their second album, but Madonna was.

ehh..right.....talk to jill scott, eryka badu, britney, justin, christina a...

revisionest history by madge fans strike again..

giggle

I told you not to come here when you're half-asleep...lol...Now,go back and read my post.I said most artists! Obviously, there are some exceptions, but for the most part, most artists do not headline their own tours by their second album, especially back in the early 80s.When Prince released his second album in 1979,he was opening for Rick James. When Janet released her second album in 1984,she surely could not have launched a headlining tour with it.When Donna Summer released her second album in 1976,she was touring with The Temptations and Lou Rawls.Love her or hate her,but you gotta admit that, for Maddy, major success came early. Are we clear on that? Sheeeessshh!

You may now return to bed lol

All those artists were irrefutably influenced by the one, the only - Madonna!

And that includes their tour schedules.
