What! He didn't write those lyrics. jezzz err Ma ma se, ma ma sa, ma ma coo sas is a popular chant used in cameron.
This chant was famously used on Manu Dibango's classic jazz album Soul Makossa. Manu, a cameron native, is a respected jazz musician, this was probably a chant quincy jones was aware of...are you willing to call Quincy Jones, Manu Dibango, or the popualation of cameron sick perverts.

And Now On In The Closet
Who is the "Mystery Girl" who sings on "In the Closet” Princess Stephanie of Monaco, according to Black & White and MTV Australia. Michael confirmed this while speaking with fans in Gstaad in 1993. In an interview on British TV, Madonna revealed that she was the original choice to be the Mystery Girl. When Michael asked her to do a duet, she agreed, and he played a preliminary version of the song for her. She asked him if he knew what the title meant, and he said he did. Not realizing the joke, she found this very unexpected and intriguing of Michael and went home and wrote more lyrics in the spirit of the title. He didn't like the new lyrics, so they ended up not doing the song together. Princess Stephanie took over. However, some minor bits of Madonna remain, as a club member with a sampler has heard a background voice in the song saying, "Can you guess who this is? Madonna, Madonna."

You don't have to believe this explanation and you guys probably won't. You won't believe it because it doesn't confer with your belief and ultimate wish that this man is guilty. I'm surprised none of you have resorted to analyzing Jackson 5 lyrics in search of proving his guilt...how bout young folks, She's A Rhythm Child, or even better The Life Of The Party. hmmm

Usher has updated an MJ classic to let him know that he still doesn't mind stealing his moves....

(HAS) Ben

(HAS)Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
I'll never be alone
And you, my friend, will see
You've got a friend in me
(you've got a friend in me)

(HAS)Ben, you're always running here and there
You feel you're not wanted anywhere
If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
There's one thing you should know
You've got a place to go
(you've got a place to go)

I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us", now it's "we"
(HAS)Ben, most people would turn you away
I don't listen to a word they say
They don't see you as I do
I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like (HAS)Ben
(a friend) Like (HAS)Ben
(like Ben) Like (HAS)Ben
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

This thread is fucked up.

The only impression I ever got about "In the Closet" was that, like Prince apparently did at one time, (Jack U Off) he wasn't too clear on the meaning of certain slang expressions.

Same with Thriller, there are allegations of him using scary movies (like the Exorcist) and showing them to the boys, and them getting scared shitless and then they sleep in bed with Michael - classic stepping stone paedophile actions.

Different subject, same idea, when I fist heard 'Fast Love' by George Michael, to me it just sounded like a 'Gay' song, about quick, anonymous one-night stands (not that straight people don't have 'em) but it rang bells with me - lo and behold, he turns out to be fruity.

i have never bashed anybody on a message board before for their oppinion, but what a fuckin retard, mj made thriller inspired by the idea that it would scare kids into bed with him, mj didnt even write that track!!! its pathetic, and so is the crap about in the closet!

Nope, sorry - you're reading into things I didn't say.

What I'm saying is if Michael writes from true experience, then both Thriller and In The Closet could be considered to be inspired by his real life pertaining to the situations I outlined.

I never said he wrote Thriller to scare little boys into bed, that's just what your warped mind read into it.

Whomever wrote Thriller, Michael was smitten with the idea of making a horror movie type promo video (inspired by American Warewolf In London I believe) - so when I reference the song, I reference the entire project, the song, the video and the promotion for it.

I think, initially,Maddy was intrigued by Michael, but I also think she wanted to "mold him" into something he was not, lol. She wanted him to come out of his shell and become as shocking/racy/controversial as she was.Perhaps she felt that her association with Michael was some kind of "experiment"?

I always felt that,if MJ had done a solo "Thriller" tour in 1983/84,Madonna would have an obvious choice for opening act.I think they both had the same manager back then (Freddie DeMann).

That's true. The reason is because she was hugely successful from day one. Most artists are NOT headlining their own tours by their second album, but Madonna was.

When Madge got Freddie DeMann as a manager he and MJ had just parted ways and her famous comment was, "Good now he can devout all his time to me."

I don't think she would have opened not because of her sucess but because of her ego. She was a star in her mind from the begining. THere are stories of her throwing temper tantrums and causing problems with other acts that did the rounds of PA in clubs when Madonna was first starting to promote her first few singles and album, because they got the better time slots. Madge has seen herself as the biggest thing going, since day one. SHe would have refused to open

There's some Madonna-loving psychos on the Janet boards who think Control is a carbon copy of Madonna's earlier works. They have definitely drunk the Kool Aid.
