i'm not quite sure how to take that! lol

though at least we'll always have kenna, who made the fischerspooner debacle salvageable.

I agree with both of you...I saw that same show and Kenna was better....Although I heard some new cuts from the new Fischerspooner cd ODESSEY and I gotta say they're pretty good....more catchy and more of a band feel to some of the tracks....

Kenna was freakin' awesome.

Oh, you can take that in a good way. You made Fischerspooner bearable and I wouldn't have been front row twice for Prince if it hadn't been for you. hug

i have no problem with their studio stuff...i think their last album was fantastic, which is why i was so excited to see them. unfortunately, they were too drunk/arrogant/untalented at lip synching to leave much of an impression as a live act.

PATTIE LABELLLE - she was on stage for a little over an hr... instead of singing, she spent most of the time talking with people she knew.... her menopause.... she didn't even have a decent encore..... i sooo wanted to see her in concert, because i had seen a couple of her live show on PBS and she seem great when she performed live....

The Isley Brothers last year at one of the casinos. The little bit of the show that actually happened was good, except for that Mr. Big shit. The show started late and ended early.

Also, I had seen The Time in concert at the same casino a few months earlier and had the time of my life. With VIP tickets, you got all you could drink. I worked that waitress like a two dollar whore. I know her feet were tired when I got through with her. lol

At The Isley Brothers concert, with VIP tickets, you got three coupons for free drinks and there were no waitresses. I got two of my drinks before the show and got my third one while the Mr. Big shit was playing. If I had known this, I would have bought cheap tickets and snuck in liquor. lol

The first concert i ever saw by Prince. It was on the JOTY tour and it was OK, but i was expecting so much more. I kept going though and it seems like every show I see is better than the last

The last two times i saw Aerosmith. Played way to much of that late 80/90's ballad shit.

duh

I FORGOT THE WORST ONE!

One day I went to a summer festival. James Brown was very ok, the Fun Lovin' Criminals were way better than I thought them to be.

So the award goes to... ill

Finley Quaye Do you remember him? The man had a nice hit with 'Your love gets deeper everyday' or something like that. I saw him 4 years after this little hit, and was pretty curious. He walked on stage half an hour too late (nothing bad, Prince was more than an hour too late the first time I saw him). But... this guy wasn't cute anymore, turned out to be a fat guy. He had a joint in one hand, a bottle of whiskey in the other and he kept snorting his fingers (sorta like Prince in the Brown-Jackson concert confused ) He didn't sing, babbeled and staggered. He turned his back to the audience and began insulting us. Never saw something horrible like that. machinegun

The Tirolerconcerts I saw on skiholiday were ten times more enjoyable than this shit !

I'm really sorry to say this, Purplegypsy, but mine would have to be Fleetwood Mac boxed I was SO looking forward to seeing them as I've been a big fan for many years especially of Stevie Nicks, but I was really disappointed. It's the only concert I've ever walked out on...and I wasn't nearly the only one either. Every minute there were more and more people walking out unfortunately sad

sorry redface

Was this show from their recent tour? I was gonna see them last June, but I was a little skeptical because Christine McVie (my favorite member) wasn't on board this time around. Was the show really that bad?

I have never been disappointed at a concert. I think that's because I only attend concerts from artists that I know are great and that I really love. With how expensive tickets are, I only see those that I know will not disappoint. There are many, many artists that I would never pay to see as I know they would disappoint me. I'm very chosy about my concerts and music!

I saw Prince at Madison Square Garden when "Kiss" came out. (The "Kiss Tour???") Can you believe he didn't even perform "Kiss?" It's never been my favorite song, but how do you not perform your current hit live in concert? I thought he was going to do it during an encore, so I hung around...and around...and around.... Only after they started dismantling the set did I realize, "He ain't doing "Kiss." neutral

Cake - the singer is such a wanker
Ween - they were surprised they had sold out the venue and decided to give us a suck-ass evening
Oasis - they just proved that they are overrated
Bryan Adams (supporting ZZ Top) - he had not broken through yet but already sucked

there are more....

The "kiss" tour??? Do you even know what you are talking about??? Maybe you shouldn't get to have a Prince avatar/icon if you are gonna make statements like that. It was probably the "Parade" tour. If you didn't enjoy yourself at that show what are you doing here now?

Don't get your thongs in a bunch, homey. That's why I included "???" It could've been the "Parade" tour. It was years ago. Anyway, is it inconceivable to be a little disappointed because Prince screwed up? neutral
