I've been listening to the new Lauryn Hill CD "Unplugged' all week.It's my favorite album of the moment.It contains a bunch of stripped-down,acoustic songs with powerful lyrics that are deep and introspective.It's so refreshing to hear this music!! Too much of R&B/pop is slick and polished.

MJ needs to take a cue from Lauryn and do something similiar.'Invincible' has some great moments,but Lauryn's album is a more honest,heartfelt effort,imo.

Listen, the worst part of the invisible Invincible album is the fact that Mike was actually reaching for Top 40 with that wack shit!! So of course promotion being stopped makes his less than realistic fans cry like Tito getting slapped for popping Joe's guitar string!!

MJ has an unlikely supporter: foul-mouth rapper Eminem! In an interview with MTV,Eminem says "Of every album I have listened to,the best of the year so far has been 'Invincible'.Michael Jackson deserves a lot more credit than he is getting,one of the most influential performers of all time".

Eminem wanted to appear at Michaels' NY concerts last year,but scheduling conflicts prevented him from participating.

Michael Jackson deserves a lot of respect even by Prince' Fans.

he has some incredible funky tracks all over his career and the last One "Invincible" is more Funky than ever.

I think SONY did a great job promoting his last album..

SONY still got a #1 album out of him ( for a week).. even though it cost $30 million dollars for writers,producers, ect.. plus another $20 million to promote it

But the promotion has stopped in January because MJ wants to leave SONY.

That's the explaination why Butterflies did not get a video and why the promotion has stopped (no more video, no concerts, nothing).Sony does not want to promote an artist which will get away.

Invincible is really good...awesome I would say.

Michael is leaving Sony.He owes them one more album and it will be a Greatest Hits album with several new tracks.It will be released in the fall.Although he has hinted that he would probably go the "independent" route,there are rumors that he will most likely wind up at either Universal Records or J Records(Clive's label).
