Tori Amos and Damien Rice- Power of Orange Knickers

anyone else dig this track?

I really wish Damien was singing a little bit more but this is a beautiful piece of work.

bravo Tori

yeah, this is a truly great song. the melody really gets stuck in my head. i actually woke up with this song in my head this morning... probably because i fell asleep last night listening to TBK on the headphones in bed.

but yeah... definitely Orange Knickes is one of my faves from TBK. I am happy w/ the vocals Damien Rice does...i don't think there should be any more. Him being there just gives it a little kick.

no its not release yet.. but this week eh? I believe its this week it gets released..

sometimes fans get a hold of Promos early.. and I personally dont believe its a bad thing. True fans will still buy the music.

I just called my brother, and he said he's downloading it from fileshare
*right now* and should have the album complete in about half an hour lol.

talk about coincidence.

I'm not sure wether I'll listen to that copy though. Depends how long it
will be until the album is in stores here.

Oh, who am I kidding, I know I won't be able to contain myself biggrin

I dig the more upbeat Tori.... Its a nice, natural progress from her last album. very warm and distant and times. Perhaps the album could have been shortened, but the album as a whole is a nice piece of work.

The new Ani Difranco album is excellent also.. It will take me a little while to get back into her album after the first listen.. I think the Tori/Ani release were so close together.. I cant absorb both at once..

So im takin Tori's first. Tori's is better accessible at first glance.

Ani's looks (sounds) better from a distance, meaning it will take much more time to appreciate.

Ok, so ehm, as was to be expected, I caved in smile

My brother just gave me a cd copy of the album
and I'm listening to it right now.

Sounds very nice, but then I've only heard the
first 2 minutes heheh.

I like the way the piano sound comes through on
this. I'm getting very excited now.
