These "video" versions are better than album versions:
Björk "Big Time Sensuality"/"All Is Full Of Love"/"Who Is It"
Moloko "Sing It Back"
Madonna "Express Yourself"

cool

I like the album version just fine, but the video version
is incredible.

I also love the live performance of the video version on
her Vespertine live album.

Wasn't "Love Me" (or "Just Love Me") just a whole new song or is that how they remix now (Thank you, J. Lo).

Two off the top of my head. Both are the video mixes.

Pet Shop Boys "How Can you Expect To Be Taken Seriously"
Donna Summer "Love's About to Change My Heart"

Most of Prince's extended mixes from the mid-80's; especially Love or $$, Let's Go Crazy, Erotic City, Shockadelica, and Raspberry Beret are much better than their respective album/single versions.

Madonna - Express Yourself (7'' Remix)
Madonna - Keep It Together (Single Remix)
Madonna - What It Feels Like For A Girl (Above & Beyond 12'' Mix / Above & Beyond Radio Edit) AKA the video version
Janet Jackson - Together Again (Jonathan Peters mixes)
Janet Jackson - Alright (7'' Remix) NOTE: I'm only comparing this to the album version on CD; the album version on vinyl is actually the 7'' remix with a different intro!
Kylie Minogue - Slow (Chemical Brothers Mix / Chemical Brothers Radio Edit)
Kylie Minogue - Come Into My World (Fischerspooner Mix)
Luther & Janet - The Best Things In Life Are Free (CJ's UK mixes)
Donna Summer - Love's About To Change My Heart (PWL 7'' Mix / PWL 12'' Mix)

nod

As for Together Again, I think the DJ Premier Mix and the JJ/TL Deep Mix are both better than the album version.

disbelief

I think he took a great groove and turned it into your average 1994 radio slow jam. It sounds exactly like everything else that was out at that time, whereas the original really didn't.
