It's sure been a while since she's released a non-Christmas album (in fact, in the eight years she took a break from studio albums, she released three seasonal disc, if you include the one with Pavoritti and others). I think this album is all covers. As anyone heard anything about it? It doesn't seem to have a lot of hype and these cover albums are often hit and miss for a comeback. Any thoughts or comments?

I love Vanessa Williams!

I don't really seeing this being her comeback album (as far as being successful in the mainstream). She got a very nice voice...but she's not really doing anything different than someone like Natalie Cole. Borderline adult contemporary stuff. Unless there's a big t.v. special or mass promotion, it'll probably fall in the bin right next to her last non holiday album...oddly enough titled "NEXT".

But yeah..I'll probably be getting this as well.

I'm not particularly a VW fan, but glad she is not letting divorce keep her down.....Move on, sista, move on....

Vanessa was on the Tom Joyner Morning Show just before this past Christmas promoting her Silver and Gold CD..they played a snippet from the new upcoming cd (a duet with Brian McKnight)...and she urged listeners not to believe what they hear or read..that she and Rick Fox are STILL married (the whole topic came up as the group was discussing the fake Serena Williams interview that was floating around.
