lets be honest here...what the f**k was he doing??? a multi millionaire rock star who could have had half a dozen beautiful young girls in his bedroom if he wanted to have some fun. what does he do??? has a jerkoff while slowly choking himself with a belt tied around a door knob!!!!....come on...what a f**king waste eek

Bullshit rumor.A bitter custody battle, has led to people to taking there own life,by itself. And that all added up(2-3 years),that morning, along with prescription drugs, cocaine, alcohol, and mixing that with prozac=BAD NEWS.Put down the tabloid ahole confused

No no, I'd believe the hang-beat combo. Tabloids are one thing, CNN is another. Not that they're reliable, but, if you find somebody attached to a door, where they could have stood up to stop the hanging, then it's pretty apparent that they weren't trying to kill themselves - it was just piss poor misjudgement. Yeah, he had a crappy life at the time, but still, it's just not a way that somebody would seriously try to kill them selves.

But you know, I wasn't there, so, who knows.

Try putting spaces after your periods and your commas. It REALLY makes it a lot easier to read your posts.

I still say bullshit.VH1 had a good behind the music on Hutch, that gave a good TRUE account.A friend of mine knew Martha Troup,(sp?)when she was inxs's managaer in the day.She got the phone call that morning from Michael, and he was in bad shape.Couldn't see his girl for the holidays,(Sir BOB had spoken)and said he had had it with this shit.Somebody irrational, mixing the drugs I mentioned, usually means bad news.I had a friend commit suicide in high school with just the prozac & alcohol combo.ANYWAY.....

Thanks you all for the replies. grouphug

But no thanks to abierman. Cocksmoker. tease

I'll defintely miss the man, but I'll always have the music. I love their early days (1979-1982) when they were these fresh-faced kids from OZ, playing some quirky yet fanstatic New Wave. big grin

I was thinking of you last night, NWF, there was a show on called "Walk on by - the story of popular music" last night was the finale of the series and the entire show was dedicated to New Wave - they played all this awesome music I hadn't heard in years and I was like "awwwww I wish I could chat to NWF about this!" lol

I think his friends also would support the suicide theory. Bono said that he had talked about suicide with Hutchence and had told him that it was a weak way out; that's why he wrote 'Stuck in a Moment' for him. Isn't the Duran Duran song also alluding to the fact that he killed himself intentionally?
