I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but I resent the notion that being cool or badass is the exclusive province of black people. Not saying that you personally are promoting this idea, but I think it's gotten way out of hand in popular culture. The prevailing assumption seems to be that black automatically=cool while white=lame. Again, no offense, but starting a thread entitled "the baddest white boy" implies as though the absolute baddest people are black and that badass white people are the anomalies.

Aaaaanyway, pardoning my rant here are some of my picks: Mick Jagger, Frank Zappa, Todd Rundgren, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Angus Young, Les Claypool, Buckethead(i assume he's white), Henry rollins, Ian McKay, Dave Brubeck (I saw him perform last year, he's over 80 years old and still kicks ass), Buddy Holly (yes four-eyes' can be badass), Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton (used to be), Paul McCartney (when he was a Beatle), Joey Ramone (even though I'm not a huge fan of the Ramones' music), Freddy Mercury.

Yeah, I don't like this trend either. The offense goes both ways because if a so-called black man doesn't act a certain way it's assumed that something's wrong with him. I also squirm everytime somebody uses the term "white boy". This trend has gone on too long as well. David Bowie is 50 or 60 isn't he? Unless you're talking about a male under the age of 25 the term boy is inappropriate. It's disrespectful-- Chris Tucker in Money Talks comes to mind. That kinda shit ain't cool at all.
