was just wondering if anybody else is a fan of Creed and what u think of them. What's your fav song by them? oh and 1 more thing how long have they been around 4? No biggie was just curious if anybody knew or if anybody else liked them.

I really can't stand this band, it just sounds like a bunch of whiny shit to me, but hey it's whiny shit about Jesus so I should prolly refrain from my usual bad attitude to avoid going to hell *wink wink*!

Creed hit the big time in 1997 with there first release "My Own Prison." I like there sound, but my niece liked them enough to name her son after the band - Creed Osiris.

Creed and Pearl Jam are not one in the same. Pearl Jam is from the Seattle area but there lead singer Eddie Vedder hails from Chicago. Creed is from Florida.

Some songs are okay...but DAYUM...same 3 chords on every song...same whiney "holier than thou" voice... UGH

I'll defend Creed. They are my wife's favorite band. Personally I'm a funkateer, but for a rock bank they are genuine. Yeah, I think that they kinda sound like Pearl Jam too, but I don't think they sound like them too much. As a matter of fact my wife is now getting into Pearl Jam (hey, she's only 24) because to her they sound like Creed. Weird, huh? I think Creed's first album My Own Prison is the best. That shit does rock! They kinda tamed down with Human Clay. I think their new album Weathered is good. I've seen them perform live and they are really good. I would not be into them if my wife wasn't but I can say that I see why she likes them. They do rock. And if you are a spiritual person their lyrics do make sense to you and will move you.

Why is it that everytime the band is on the cover of a magazine, Scott has to stand in front, bare chested, and sporting a pretentious pose?

At the DFP tour, he had to have his own special area that no other band had, then how the fuck did Creed wind up closing the show AFTER BLACK SABBATH? I was disgusted by that. You don't ever go after a true legend.

Then they add a pice of "Cashmere" in their new song and try to play it off as though it's theirs, and finally, yes...Scott does sound like Eddie and everyone knows it.

Enough people like them enough for them to make a living and I'm sure they don't mind if some people don't like them. I appreciate the "spiritual" base to their music. I say more power to them.
