I was listening to missy elliot this morning and man, that cd is hot! In my opinion, that was her best album! Under Construction and the one after that (sorry can't think of the name right now) don't even come close. She is so talented and innovative. I really hope she can put something really good out next time. I think the music industry really needs her now, as well as the fans!

I agree; this was Missy Elliott's peak. I love 'Dog in Heat', sounds like something Prince might've done back in the day.

I use to play this album non-stop! It truly was addictive for me. One of my favorites moments is the rap by Eve on My People. I agree that Under Construction was not up to par following this. It felt like she rushed to put it out but maybe she should have taken an extended break.

under construction had its share of good moments, but yeah - it wasn't nearly as great as miss e...so addictive. and don't even get me started on that last mess she put out, i have no idea what was going on there.

i'm really hoping the next cd will blow us all away. seems like she's been slipping lately. i mean some on the tracks on miss e....are so damn, creative.

and almost every other track on that cd are insane! let's hope she can come back strong again.

I think this album was her masterpiece but sadly only got two singles that got notice since "Take Away" didn't get a fair shake at radio and "4 My People" was only partially tacked on to that video (should have been a single in it's own right). This club orientated stuff is what she should get back to. It's where she sounded most comfortable and most innovative ("Under Construction" had way too many recognizable samples).

I haven't loved any of them since the debut, although I've loved moments on all of them. She's probably my favorite singles artist out there, but I don't think she's yet delivered the masterpiece album you know she has in her.
