Did anybody actually hear Garth Brooks' Chris Gaines CD?

I was watching VH-1's rtero look on the 1990's, and they were poking fun at Garth Brooks' ill-fated concept Chris Gaines project. However, some of the snippets actually sounded pretty decent. Just wondering if anybody actually bought it or listened to it and what your thoughts were.

You know, i actually still have that CD, and yes it was surprisingly good. There's at least 5 really good songs on there. I think if he'd just released the album, and not told anyone who it was it would have gone over a lot better than it did.

Plus performing on SNL in costume really didn't help.

Great CD. Very Beatlesque. Tommy Simms is a real genius.

I have it to this day, and my wife actually has it in the cd player of our jeep right now. It is a huge underrated piece of work that Brooks deserves much more credit for.

2 cents, you got it!

To be honest it probably sold more than Ziggy Stardust ever did in the 70s...

Several millions copies of sales, millions. Now, that's what I call a flop.

I bought the 'Lost In You' single. It reminds me of George Michael a little.

I loved Lost In You too and used to run the single. I thought the whole Chris Gaines project was suppose to be a tie-in to a movie called The Lamb from Babyface and Tracy Edmunds film company. Never heard any more about it.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
