Audition to replace a dead man! http://www.indie-music.co...e&sid=3522
attempt to replace this famous face.... I was in love with this man when I was 12...I thought I would die with every INXS album ever made!...then I forgot about them when I was 13 Now INXS is a reality show Now I think that I'll die with everything on TV being a reality show If you have to ask, it's more than worth it.

Someone said TTD fronted for them on a few gigs. That would be a great match. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I was just about to start a thread about Michael Hutchence.
I am against this idea of a replacement totally. [Edited 1/19/05 16:57pm] NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

The idea of a replacement for the lead singer is hardly unprecedented (as has already been pointed out), but the notion of making a reality show out of the whole thing just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. It just seems that htey should've found a new replacement organically, instead of making such a huge production out of the whole deal. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

By the time we are all being spoon-fed, there will be no organic bands left!
I hope that never happens If you have to ask, it's more than worth it.

I hope that never happens i never considered inxs organic in the first place...as much as i liked them they always smelled of oppurtunism... sure, but they weren't hand-picked and thrown together through televised or non-televised commercial auditions were they? If you have to ask, it's more than worth it.

I'm a sucker for Am Idol for its entertainment value, and I'm sure I like quite a few bands/musicians who went that route or a similar route. Like the carnivore who doesn't go hunting because they don't want to look at the carcass before its nicely formed into sausages or shoes, I guess I wishfully think or hope that the ones I like hold real talent for writing songs, lyrics, etc...but you do bring up a good point- many of those who were discovered thru this avenue probably do have real talent, its just another way of getting discovered If you have to ask, it's more than worth it.
