Yep, this one is hard to find. Got it on a CD-R, though.

Red Box - The Circle And The Square.

Love that album (on tape).

Yes! I bought that cassette years ago. I dont know what made me pick it up. I think they were playing it in the store. What was the deal with that group? did they release anything else?

Ah, Red Box.

The Circle and the Square was re-issued in Japan on CD about 5 years ago (and I managed to get a copy after 10 years of searching). It's got a lyric book in both English and Japanese and is easily one of my favourite albums.

They also did a follow-up album called 'Motive' which was less poppy and was more of a grower than an instant fix. Still an excellent album though.

I also recommend this;

http://www.cdvine.co.uk/spa.html

It's an odd CD and a real unorthodox album, consisting mostly of lovely instrumentals with the odd vocal track here and there.

One of my favorite movies from the 80's -- "All the Right Moves" with Tom Cruise-- ends with a very moving song: "Blue Skies Forever."

I always rewind the DVD over and over to listen to this beautiful song.

I wish I could find it on CD but the soundtrack is out of print and the rare and the relatively obscure singer, Frankie Miller, never put this song on an album.

Download searches only turn up that horrible namesake album by the obnoxious, irreverent, and irrelevant Mary Prankster.

I think the soundtrack's record company went out of business or something. Can't find it on amazon, ebay or second spin. Not even Froogle can find the soundtrack for me.
sad

But it's a fucking beautiful song.

"In this dying town that takes away your soul, you've got to dream the strongest dream until the good times roll. And look for blue skies forever ... blue skies forevermore."

Raw Power is in print - I don't know if the original "Bowie Mix" is still available, but the Iggy-approved remastered release is definitely out there for the taking.

my holy grail of the moment...

I know you prefer vinyl but I saw that CD in a lot of record stores last year as well as two or three other Cameo albums on CD. In another thread, a lot of orgers were saying these albums were out of print and I thought they were crazy. When I was in the record store last weekend, I saw they were right. All the Cameo CDs are gone except for greatest hits albums. It's funny how they would pull them all at the same time so quickly.

Did anything by REGINA get CD pressing? I'm looking for the song "Baby Love" that was a hit in early '86. Actually, if an mp3 of this is available, can someone please org note me? Thanks!
