Velvet Revolver live Great gig in Glasgow 14/1/05. Scott Weiland is a tremendous front man. The rest of the band formerly of Guns n' Roses weren't so bad either. Slash is a superb guitarist. It was gig well worth the money. Three for the price of one because they played some Stone Temple Pilots and G & R material as well as their own of course.
The next big thing, perhaps?

They seem to be huge in the U.S. from what I could tell when I was there for three months very recently. I plan on getting their album tomorrow, because I am very curious. I'd love to see them live though. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

If you get the chance to see them it is well worth it. Stone Temple Pilots was the 2nd best live act I've seen. (I wonder who's 1st?) VR could have been snobbish and refused to play songs from their past but fair play to them they pleased everyone wanting to hear a bit of STP or G n' R, although I think once they complete another two albums or so they'll faze that out.

hehehe....very strang that this thread should pop up right now because I'm listening to them right now.
Also, his outfit reminds me another like it..... Sorry, I just couldn't resist an opportunity to post a Jimmy Page pic. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
