New CD? I haven't had the chance to hear the last one yet either! Or the one before that to be honest...

I'm always rooting for Ani, but honestly, I haven't really been thrilled by anything of hers since Little Plastic Castles.

And people thought THAT was experimental for her. I like "To The Teeth" but I agree, I haven't bought an Ani album in a while, and it's ok because she comes out with so much stuff. But she needs to get back to basics. Also she's co-producing for the first time so that might be a good sign.

Ani rocks my world! I will definately be tuning in to the Tonight Show, and I'll be going to her show at the Wiltern next month. Ani, reminds me a lot of Prince, in that she's so prolific and releases so much stuff that it's hard to keep up. But even though her last albums may not flow smoothly, like say the perfect flow of "DILATE," there are always at least four or five gems in each disc.

REVELLING/RECKONING has the brilliant Tracks: "Subdivision," "Rock Paper Scissors" and "Who, What, When How," just to name a few.

SO MUCH SHOUTING SO MUCH LAUGHTER has the stunning "Self Evident" and the funky live versions of "LOOM/PULSE."

EVOLVE is by far my favorite disc of hers. Where would I be without the beautiful track "PHASE."

As for her new record, well I cannot wait. The four tracks previewed at Righteaousbabe have been in heavy rotation on my computer.

Kool. I'll check this out. Speaking of The Tonight Show, did anyone catch Jill Scott's performance on The Tonight Show last week? It was absolutely incredible!
Her voice is GOLDEN!
