Singer D'Angelo Charged With Drunk Driving
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - R&B artist Michael Eugene Archer, better known as D'Angelo, was charged with drunken driving and drug possession after a traffic stop, police said. Police in suburban Richmond arrested the Grammy Award-winning singer early Sunday. A subsequent search turned up ``what we believe to be cocaine and marijuana,'' said Chesterfield police Capt. Karl Leonard. He said the substances will be analyzed. Along with drunk driving, Archer, 30, a Richmond native, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He is due in court next Tuesday. Archer received a Grammy for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 2000 for ``Untitled (How Does it Feel)'' from the album ``Voodoo.'' That compilation also won a Grammy for Best R&B Album.

for 2005 & for March they headlined D'angelo & Al Green as 2
major soul acts both releasing their new albums.
There was the exact date but I don't remember what day,I just
remember March.It's on their releaseplan anyway.
It propably B delayed as so many times before,

It really pisses me off to see such gifted individuals throwing their God-given talents away to drugs and alcohol. That crap is so 1960s/70s...let it go already! Just 'cause George and Sly tripped out on drugs doesn't mean you'll have the same creative juices they did if you follow in their footsteps. This is just plain stupid.
