who is the hardest working entertainer: james brown or prince?

We all know James Brown is the hardest working man in show business, his shows are very entertaining. Prince is also an excellent entertainer, especially nowadays when it is very rare to find quality entertainment from these puppet singers in the industry now.

James Brown composes his music just as prince does although James has seniority over Prince.

So in ur opinion, who is the hardest working entertainer? Or do they even compare??
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Well you have to compare James of old to Prince of now. I mean, how can James be making music so much if he's beatin' on women , taking police on chases, and going to jail?

No doubt about it. James deserves all the respect that he gets-maybe more. However, I think Prince A. is apples and oranges when it comes to James
and B. Took it to the next level. Prince isn't just James. He's Jimi, He's Lennon. He's Little Richard. He's Sly. He's Santana. He's Jagger. He's Bowie. He's Prince.

Let's not go nuts here. I'm a huge prince fan but prince isn't god. That statement seems to imply you think prince is superior to ALL of those rock n roll greats. Sure he's a great hybrid artist but that doesn't mean that he's more talented or more important or has surpassed all the great talents of the past. On second of all, James brown's history of spousal abuse is exaggerated, he led the police on one chase many years ago and went to prison once. My vote goes to James Brown. Maybe he couldn't play the guitar as well as prince but he was the better dancer, singer and overall showman. James brown's grooves are absolutely monumental and helped define not one but THREE genres of popular music (funk, hip-hop, disco). And even though prince is the superior multi-instrumentalist, james was quite the talented organist and drummer as well. Plus James used to sweat off ten pounds every night and had would have years (or rather at least one year in the 70s) where he was booked almost every single night, which is how he earned his title, and when he was prince's age, he was still doing all the crazy mike-juggling and splits which I haven't seen prince do in a long time, and james is still touring when he's more than 70 years old. James Brown hands down.

Know disrespect to Prince, he is definitely one of the best but when Prince is at home James is still touring even at 71! You figure it out.

George Clinton holds the record for most concert dates in the past although he gets no credit for it.

u are looking way to much into it. when he sings, produces, writes, plays instruments, dances, and orchestrates the npg, is he not entertaining the audience as well as himself? maybe u need to pick up a dictionary, partner...
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
