New edtion- home again

not the album, but the song.

This track is gorgeous and so OTT but appropriate as it is very much autobiographical. It relates to me personally too though.

It was just so good to hear Ralph, Bobby, Johnny and Ricky sing seperate lines on one track.

Track is easily one of the best jam/lewis cuts. Spine tingling too.

This track can move me to tears at times. The start is so dramitic.

Plus u get a cool "reworking" if u will of Ralph Tresvant singing "can you stand the rain", which is a nice touch that is not used as a novalty.

Did they perform this live? Man I woulda loved to of seen that!

This track is one of their best ever. And one of my all time fav's too.

i played the album out when i first got it. i think that its a good reunion album. i think it fit their style being that they were older. I could accept these type songs because it felt like they weren't trying to be "hip" if i may say.

but their current album i just will not buy because judging from their single and the video, they are trying way to hard to try to look and sound like a boy band group that is in their late teens today. it doesn't sound like their style, it sounds like they are trying to be someone their aren't...
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I like this song, particularly Ralph and Bobby's vocals. Ralph sounds good when he does not strain or oversing, which he does not do on this song. Same with Bobby.

Bobby got the same sorta voice as Morris day. In other words, sings great but is just attitude and swagger. Morris and Bobby both prove though that they can handle ballads.....

Johnny does not go OTT either thank god.

ricky is always welcome to sing in my book. His voice matured to be very nice. Alot better then his rather nasty kid voice.

The only missing member on this track is Ronnie Devoe. As Mike talks some on the fade out. Poor old Ronnie.....

Very Good Album

Their new album is under-rated. There is good shit on there that no one is hearing. I think it's time for NE to hang it up because not enough people give a shit.

Yeah, their last one ("one love") got no props as far as I can tell.

"home again" still sounds god on the whole. Jam/lewis and New edition work SO damn well together, and they came up good again last year with great songs like "newness" and "re-write the memories".

"i'm still in love with you" gives me goosebumps still at times. Yet not much respect 4 it on soul stations or whatever.....
