I love me some Clash too. biggrin
I think you should listen to any that you can find, London Calling is a great place to start. The remake has a lot of good stuff on it. Also the Rude Boy movie .There is so much out there , I found a lot of things on E-Bay...even got a guitar signed by Mick Jones.

Yes. yes. I love The Clash. And there's this other guy here called Daniel Boon who you really must meet ... Oh Danny Boy ...

Ah, but can you mount a robust defence of "Cut the Crap"? I can't.

The thing is, there was the potential for at least half a good album there. Some of Strummer's songs from that period (namely "In The Pouring Rain" (which wasn't recorded and only played live), "North & South", "Dictator" and especially "This Is England") were actually pretty good. Blame Bernie Rhodes, the manager.
