Yes they are. There are MANY Madonna and Janet threads! Besides guys, those MJ theads are not compulsory, you donĀ“t have to come here. (voices, sorry to say that, but you always contribute A LOT yourself to those MJ threads yourself, cause if nothing else, you always come to tell us how annoyed you are. Well if you are than show your disinterest by not responding to them)

Count the number of MJ threads on the first five pages of this forum.

Then do the same for Janet and Madonna.

Enough said.

No wonder people are pissed off.

And this is BEFORE the trial starts! I think the mods would do well to do something now....

Michael Jackson threads don't bother me as much as the type of person that posts them. I find it really annoying when people are only here to talk about Mike; you know the type of person. They've never once posted on the Prince board itself, if you check all of their recent posts, not one of them has anything to do with anyone other than "the King of Pop", and most of all, they type 12 paragraph replies when anyone makes a remark that's the least bit dispariging towards ol' MJ.

Quite frankly, since I've been on this board, and others like it, my level of fandom for Mr. Jackson has dropped significantly; his fans definitely share part of the blame in this situation.

nod

Same here...I like MJs old stuff but after the past few years of his freakiness, and his fans being totally dillusional I seriously don't want anything to do with him anymore. Its kinda sad.

I love all the MJ threads.

Reading a post from a truly deeply devoted MJ fan
justifing MJ's actions is always great fun.

What I get tired of is MJ lovers
posting something that isn't really newsworthy
& just seems posted to taunt & annoy other people.
Mostly because they are so obvious when they do it.
Mostly.

The thing is with lots of posts in this forum, the MJ fans are or really haters (which I am not, thank you) or people so utterly devoted to him they will accept no critizism.
I have this problem with devoted Prince fans too; it irks me there is no discussion possible.

I wrote this thread in response to the SUPPORT MICHAEL JACKSON-thread. These posts, in all their sweetness, just irritate the hell out of me. Being a fan of anyone, I would feel less a fan if my idol was accused of any crime...I would get a bit more reserved.
I guess this is what being a fan is to some; the word 'fan' is of course derived from 'fanatic'. It made Prince invent the word 'fam', which then became the tag of so many Prince-weirdo's.

I rather describe myself an admirer of somebody's music and sometimes, his or her public persona.

This, in no way, was meant to be a thread to 'diss' MJ-fnas, just to shake them up a bit and look at how they express their often blind admiration.

I rarely look at them. I laugh more at how many VIEWS are on each one. rolleyes It's like some have Electric Shocks to their private parts and when a new MJ topic or post is up, the shock goes off & they run to this site. eek lol

There is a mental illness factor when over 1,000 views to each MJ topic.

Like I said; this was not intended as MJ-fan bashing thread. Just me bitching about the amount of them and the pleas for support...

Just give me one of these sticky threads when the trial begins. There is nothing left to discuss musically.
