Check out John Legend

Just got the new John Legend cd, Get Lifted. I am enjoying it a lot. Don't be scared by the Kanye West producing credit. I think Kanye signed him but his influence does not cloud this release. Some great vocals and different mix of tunes. Check it out.

I'm diggin it alot. Lots of hand clapping music. His songs run the gamut of not being in love anymore, to being on the down low, to wanting to do right and change in a relationship. Typical R&B maybe, but it works on this one, a different feeling.

hmmm, i just saw him on jay leno and he was pretty good...i think he sang "ordinary people"--very nice, didn't sound like your standard neo-soul wannabe...i may have to check out his cd...
