I just got this earlier today, remembering a positive review I read somewhere,and man...I'm gonna need a lot of whisky this week-end. This album cleanly knocked me out of my seat. If you haven't heard it yet, get it today...trust me it's worth it. The first three songs are very strong collaborations with mavis staples, including a very powerfull remake of 'when the saints go marchin in...and that's just the beginning: from gospel to blues and back again with contributions by B.B.King, willie nelson,...

This record takes you to New Orleans and back in an hour, and if you're not carefull you might not get back again at all. Honestly, I haven't been as excited about a single record since I got 'the best of willie nelson' for my birthday five years ago.
