she has claimed she isn't religous for many years.

and stated many time during the American Life album

she does follow Kabballah though.

Similar to how i don't think i'm religous but i follow the principles of AA, which is very cultish at time as well

and yes it was the same band she toured with for DWT and RIT minus the great Mike McKnight

There are some songs she should know better than to attempt, and "Imagine" is one of them.

I saw Madonna's performance, and immediately turned the channel to watch Michelle Kwan WIN her 9th U.S. Figure Skating title. I had heard from a number of fans who went to the Re-invention tour that Madonna's voice had gotten so much better, etc. However,last night was definitely painful to watch. I thought she sounded horrible, but all in all she is usually a pretty good performer when there is dancing and staging involved. So I still respect Madonna, but a true vocalist, she ain't.

Maybe it wasn't the greatest performance but at least she had the heart to do something.
