Madonna can't sing She'll get a pass, but, if you just saw this tsunami relief concert, you'll have to admit...Madonna can't sing and never could.

The stock song stars revert to when they need something "profound" for a benefit, even when it doesn't relate whatsoever to the purpose of the benefit. What a damn corny and predictable choice.

It was appropriate there considering the entire show had somewhat of an anti-war theme.

Quite! Hey, look at the bright side. At least she sang it. Unlike some other pop tarts that may remain nameless (cough cough) Ashlee Simpson.

She didn't sound that bad; some reaching for the low notes, and the ending was a little awkward, but I've heard much worse from other artists. Maroon 5, for example (who followed her in the concert) sounded worse. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

I saw it and yes, Madonna did a pretty bad job and really tried to sing a song she had no business singing (and doing it in a strange over the top way) but that doesn't mean she can't sing. She just can't sing "Imagine" and in that way either. In the tour, was it "electronic" like that?

Madonna was bad, but she intelligently seemed to have adjusted the melody to suit her range. I stopped watching after stevie came on. The performers who REALLY sounded bad were Mary J. and Brian Wilson. The later surprised me because I just listened to smile and his voice sounded pretty good but he was BADLY out of tune tonight. Stevie also seemed to be struggling; he needs to stop insisting on trying to reach to the stratosphere all the time. And who the hell does John Mayer think he is covering Bold as Love

They are re-airing this on MSNBC right now. I just saw Madonna. Ok she sounded kinda funny on the lower parts but she wasn't THAT bad! You make it sound like she sounded like Ashlee Simpson trying to sing live! Let the rain come down...17 days....

Her performance was definitely not her best - she kinda had that "I am in pain" sound to her. Better yet, I wonder if her and Elton John crossed paths - he was the next performer in London. The catfight that could of happened?????
