Bourelly, who is recognized internationally as an important figure in the changing face of progressive music, recently curated Berlin's Black Atlantic project in collaboration with Paul Gilroy, Archie Shepp, DJ Spooky, Doudou N'Diaye Rose, Omar Sosa, and others, connecting diasporic impulses of black-rooted music back and forth over the Atlantic. Bourelly's skank-dripping guitar playing has been featured with an astonishing array of artists, including Miles Davis, Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, Vernon Reid, Cassandra Wilson, Olu Dara and the JB Horns. OOPS!! a change of bassists...TM will only be there for the European Leg of the tour....
