Looking back now I laugh at the shit my ex-boyfriends tried to get me into...like below:

HOTHOUSE FLOWERS

and this one (TAKE THAT) was just pure stupidity on my part:

and ALANIS...

It's a sign that I can't even remember the title of it, but the lates CD from REM was a total waste of time and money. It has 2 tacks which I even moderately enjoy. The rest, IMO is TOTAL crap.

disbelief

such a shame. I hope they take some time off and reevaluate their future as a band before they release more music and continue to tarnish their legacy.

On the other side, I am proud that I didn't buy Damita Jo by Janet.

She has been one of the musicians which for years my BF and I continued to EACH buy her releases. I was so unimpressed with All For You, though, that I let my BF by DJ and I decided to wait on it. I quickly learned that even ONE copy of this in our house was excessive.

Fiona Apple? Are you wacky? That breaks my heart.

Nope I'm not wacky but thanks for your concern. biggrin

Just didn't like it. In fact, it irritated the censored outta me.

To each their own. Glad you enjoy her. I don't. shrug

New Radicals- ?title?

and June Of 44- ?title?

see, they made such an impression on me that I can't even remember the
titles of the albums. June Of 44 was because someone at the 400 bar in MPLS
insisted that this band I heard was playing over the PA system...2 employees, actually. When I bought the album, it was sooo not whatever was playing over that there PA system hmm

It is really hard to listen to. I like many of the songs, but the way it's recorded is so ugly. It hurts my ears. Makes Rain Dogs sound like Jeffrey Osborne.

Seriously, this CD made "Electric Youth" sound like Joni Mitchell's "Blue". Painful, just a hurtful album!
