KABBALAH THE CURE-ALL


AN undercover BBC reporter who infiltrated a London Kabbalah group witnessed Madonna and Guy Ritchie chanting mystic spells to cleanse Chernobyl, the site in Ukraine of the nuclear disas ter in 1986. Tony Donnelly, who used a hidden camera, claims the Kabbalah dinner turned into "a weird religious service, which started with prayer readings and chanting that culminated in everyone turning to the east, pushing the air with their hands, and crying out 'Cher-er-er-er-nobyl' at the top of their voices. They thought they were curing Chernobyl of radiation, using the power of Kabbalah to drive away the evil." Donnelly, a recovering cancer patient, says he was charged $1,500 for the dinner with Madonna and her husband, some "healing water" and several Aramaic texts - the Zohar - he was unable to read. He was told that just running his hands over the text and drinking the water could cure his cancer. He also had a session with Rabbi Eliyahu Yardeni, who told him, "Just to tell you another thing about the 6 million Jews that were killed in the Holocaust. The question was that the Light was blocked. They didn't use Kabbalah." Donnelly wrote in the London Telegraph, "It sounded as though he was blaming the Holocaust on its victims . . . I'm not Jewish, but his unprovoked rantings about Hitler's victims left me questioning his sanity." Kabbalah followers also include Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Demi Moore

You mean you don't think Madonna's into this Kaballah bullshit because it's going to make her a lot of money? I'm sure she's invested heavily in the religion (didn't she pay to build one of their "centers"?) and she'll get much more in return - at $50/red string bracelet and $40/tap water bottle. It's all bullshit, Madonna knows it, but she's persuaded all the dim bitches she hangs around with to buy into it.

At least, I hope this is the case.

Otherwise, she's really fuckin' stupid.

that part where they were chanting 'Chernobyl' to try and remove radiation from there while pointing at that video screen with Planet Earth on was just plain crazy.

that's what i call a cult. that woman that left/escaped seems to think the leader (Berg, i think he's called) controls the 'leading' members in much the same way as David Koresh did in Waco.

Crazy is a society who refuses to allow a raped 7-year old girl the right to an abortion, and when she is taken to another country for one, is excommunicatred by the Catholic church upon her return.

Doesn't sound all that different from ohter religons. I highly doubt that happened and if it did, probably not in that way. It's the British tabloid press.

yeah this did happen its not a tabloid fabrication, it was on bbc news and they filmed her going into the hall where all these people were chanting at a tv screen trying to filter the radiation away from the area and stuff. Its a money making scam beyond doubt and im shocked that a role model such as Madonna would be involved in this evil. These people blame the Jews for being exterminated, they are clearly sick sick people.

man, why are so many people on this site so intolerant of other peoples religions? ive seen people bash jehovahs witnesses, catholics, muslims and all sorts of other groups on here. i don't really think madonna or the kabbalist folks are doing any harm, so who cares?

oh, and the comment about the jews dying in the holocaust wasn't anti-semetic. the kabbalah is jewish mysticism, and this rabbi is just claiming that these jews would have been protected from hitlers evil if they had been using kabbalah. its pretty nutty, but hardly slandering jews.
