nod How awful is that Healers album?!

No groove, no melody, no swing to it....Lifeless, plodding. disbelief How did Marr sink to this? His last album before this was the last Electronic one, which has some fine guitar work on and some top tunes!

I have the first one...HAD the second and never heard the 3rd. That sorta sums it up. I have the 1st one still because I love it a lot. The second one had a pretty cover...but I found the music a bit dull. WHich is interesting as it included the guy from Kraftwerk...who had just done this...

and it was quite excellent. SO I was a bit confused at that.

My favorite Electronic track was

I like Neil's voice with the music.

Christian Zombie Vampires

The first Electronic album is great, the second (officially written on Prozac) has a couple of bright moments, but is fairly dull, the third is crap. No wonder Sumner reformed New Order.
There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Neil Tennant sang on 'Disappointed' but he was never a permanent member. Electronic is/was a side project of Johnny Marr (Smiths/Healers) and Bernard Sumner (New Order/Joy Division). Sumner does most of the singing. The combination of the New Order-ish electronics/beats and Marr's guitar playing is very cool, me think! thumbs up!

Sums it up for me.

I loved the first album, in particular Patience Of A Saint and Get the Message. It slowly went downhill from there.
