Icelandic artist Bjork is assembling a two-disc release of remixes of the song "Army of Me," which appeared on her 1995 Elektra album "Post," proceeds of which will be channeled to UNICEF. A number of unsolicited versions of the track have been sent to Bjork since the album's release, ranging "from hi-energy to death-metal," but more are sought to complete the new package.

With a deadline of Monday (Jan. 17), Bjork is calling for new remixes of "Army of Me" to be considered for inclusion on the album, due in late February/early March. All submissions encoded to 128kbs MP3 should be sent to bjorkremixes@gmail.com, including the name of the artist/DJ, remix, full credits and contact information.

It could be good. I've always said, "I've never met an Army of Me remix I didn't like."
