"Don't leave me alone" Ashanti and 7 Aurelius ( I have just heard this track off Ashanti's new album, It's a duet with 7 and is awaesome, not an Ashanti fan but this song is really good, it's retro 90's meets DeBarge, anyone else heard the track? I know there is alot of hate for Ashanti and her lack of vocal skills, but after hearing this track what is the difference between Ashanti vocally and Janet? I think they are in the same league vocally, and y'all love Janet? | |

Janet may not have Aretha or Patti pipes....but she brings more to the table then Ashanti...with all due respect Jan been around forever...but can Ashanti at least learn how to dance if she isn't going to get some singing lessons...then she might be considered a factor...that and longevity of course... I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.

Don't get me wrong I do feel artisically Janet is far more advanced than Ashanti, but as singers they are about the same? So not sure why all the hate saying Ashanti can't sing. she's not great but no worse than Janet | |

As an artist,Ashanti has no personality whatsoever.The only thing she has going for is her good looks.Her music is bland,lifeless and predictable.She's just another over-hyped celebrity with very little to offer. | |
