Thumbs Up For Rashaan Patterson's After Hours



Becuz it is the nicest R&B that came to my ears the last few years...

Especially songs like The Best are amazing...

Now I have to check out his other CD's! I'm playing "After Hours" right now. eek

Of his three albums only the first and latest are worth getting, in my eyes. First one is like should be, mellow, but gritty.

Second is fodder.

Third is what you playing right now...

I still need to get this one. I didn't like his second one so much. His voice tended to get really whiny and it just annoyed me after a couple of songs.

I saw him back in, I guess it was around '98 or '99 at the Paradiso. Were you there too?

No, saw him in a television studio in Bussum. He rocked. Holding onto that cigarette. He's a genuine cool cat. He struts.
