I absolutely hate David Bowie.
It's soooo obvious he's trying to copy Rick Astley

From each album I've heard...

Hunky Dory- Life on Mars?, The Bewlay Brothers
Ziggy Stardust- 5 Years
Alladin Sane- Panic In Detroit, Drive In Saturday
Diamond Dogs- Diamond Dogs, Sweet Thing/Candidate, We Are The Dead
Station To Station- Station To Station
Low- Sound & Vision, Breaking Glass, Crashing In The Same Car
Heroes- The whole album is pretty much essential to me, instrumentals and all, but if I had to single out ONE track it'd be Sons of the Silent Age.
Lodger- Repetiton, Move On, Yassassin, Look Back In Anger
Scary Monsters- It's No Game 1 & 2, Scary Monsters, Ashes To Ashes
Let's Dance- China Girl (Although Iggy Pop's early version is better.)

Between here and Black Tie White Noise I haven't heard any complete albums, but I do love Absolute Beginners and that one song from Labyrinth that he sings in the M.C. Escher room.

Black Tie White Noise- Miracle Goodnight (The remix on the reissue's bonus disc, not the original album version)

Another long gap. I like Battle For Britan a lot.

Heathen (My first Bowie album, actually)- Sunday, Cactus, Slip Away, Slow Burn, Everyone Says Hi (I like the theory that it's another Major Tom song. I know it's not true, but I think the lyrics fit.)

Reality- Pablo Picasso, Bring Me The Disco King

I have a lot of gaps to fill in, which is on purpose because I still want to have some good Bowie music to discover a few years from now. When I got into Prince, I had everything good, including outtakes, within a year, and there really wasn't much to look forward to after that.

No problem, Lodger anyone who takes the name of one of Bowie's albums is cool with this Jedi.

Another Master Work of Bowie is the beautiful Letter To Hermione from the Space Oddity album, as well as its closing track the epic Memory of a Free Festival all parts.

Yoda cool

Hey, Master Yoda! highfive

"Memory..." is amazing!!! biggrin

I can live without David Bowie songs. All I need is oatmeal. But I really like:

Lady Stardust
Cracked Actor
Candidate (demo version)
Word On A Wing
Be My Wife
A New Career In A New Town
Secret Life Of Arabia
Hearts' Filthy Lesson
Strangers When We Meet
China Girl (live!)
Thursday´s Child (not a classic, but I share some personal history with this one)

Oh what the hell, I gotta mention his cover version of "God Only Knows" as well. So there.

How could I forget "It's No Game (pt.1)"?. That just might be his best in my opinion, but I always forget it unless someone else mentions it!
