Stanely Clarke's "Jazz Straight Up"-Who Has It? 
I got it as a present from a friend who knows that I dig Patrice Rushen's work. This CD is actualy tight, its a jazz trio collaporation between Stanely, Patrice and drummer Leon "Ndugu" Chancler. Its playing in the background as I'm typing this. | |

No I haven't, but if I know Stanley Clarke & Leon "Ndugu" Chancler , and Patrice, it's gotta be great !

Its a 2000 release. Here's the tracklist:
1. Lover Man 2. Mack the Knife 3. Salt Peanuts 4. I Mean You 5. Now's the Time 6. Take Five 7. Jeru 8. Manteca 9. Oleo 10. Perdido The songs' arrangments don't sound trendy and conventional. This is really a good album. | |
