"we don't have to take our clothes off". Jermaine Stewart

What a fucking classic 80's camp song this is. I love it!!! N.M Walden (the producer of the track) is a genius.....

I got 2 of his albums. The one with "we dont have to....." song and the album cover shown above called "say it again"!

I love "say it again" (the track) too.

Did he make any more albums after those 2?

His voice is soo good. What the fuck is his voice? Very unique.....

Anyne love them 2 tracks, or at least remember the first?

U should like it too. This song almost defines happy and 80's too.

I like the message and the bridge betwen verse and chorus.

"come on baby won't u show some class....."

Of all the one hit wonder songs I hear to death, I haven't heard this on the radio in ages. I remember well the summer of 86 when you couldn't get enough of Jermaine's song, it was an instant sing - a - long for anybody near a radio. It's a shame he couldn't go further with his career and he's no longer alive, I would have listened to his music. He seemed to be genuine soul, someone you were happy to see make good on his dream.

I like it, especially the 12 Inch version, but it's not a one hit wonder. Jermaine Stewart had a jam out in 1984 called "The Word Is Out" which I like much better.

That song was written by a friend of mine named Preston Glass...That whole album was great and I wore the cassette out year ago...It's off the album Frantic Romantic" and there was even a song that he wrote for and about his best friend Jody Watley...It came down to him or Howard Hewitt as to who who would be in Shalimar and of course HH won...Jermaine was a really good person and a heck of a singer...Sometimes life is just 2 short~

A fun 80s dance song, although some what laughable premise (the man wants to slow things down and cherry wine as an alternative to sex?) but the fun beat makes up for it.

Great song.

When I listen to Tevin, I hear a little Jermaine in him. He could totally cover this man's past work.
