This guy could really sing. Alot of people never really caught on to him though.

didnt his last album like drop three or four years ago? why is our society so impatient?

and why just with maxwell? no offense to littlewing but we see one of these threads popping up asking about him once a month...(which is okay, so keep em coming) but its just intriguing cause we dont threads asking the same for laureen hill or sade...yet they have taken much longer...

its just very fascinating how we all seem to desire a new maxwell cd.....im rambling again..where is gooey to shut me up with his big in my mouth?

Well Lauryn she had that depression she was going through...hopefully she is past that....and Sade her track record speaks for itself...she releases music what every hundred years???? so we know when to expect something from her..I would love to hear all 3 of them comeback already....

All i know is Maxwell did a song with Nas on Nas's new album called "Streets Disciple". That's all I know, but like you I've been waitin on some new stuff from him too I just cant get enough of him. In fact I'm listenin to him now !!!!

I think alot of the real talented artist are having a tough time right now.

Non of them are selling 5mil so they aren't getting much marketing and advertising and they may even get their releases pushed back.

Good ot hear M is doing sumthin.

he did tour in support of 'now', he did about four shows in nyc alone. i caught the show in philly, vivian green opened up for him also

He is supposed to have an album coming out this year (spring) called "Black Summer's Night".

But you know Maxwell...he or the record company will push it back about 5 times just like they did with "Now"

He's also engaged(yes it's the truth ) to this Brazilian Model chick, and Black Summer's Night is a tentative title...When he's in love he just doesn't work as fast(his own words)so I guess we have to wait until they break up to get an album...

My favorite cd is EMBRYA...

Yeah, I know most of you don't like it, but for me this is a MASTERPIECE... Great concept album, the track 00 inclusive (although I can't rip it off the cd to put it on a compilation )

For how long will we be waiting for more?????

Nas gives most of the time in the song to Maxwell and he does a lovely job!!!

I'm a huge fan as well and belong to a few Maxwell communities (I bought his debut CD when it was $6.99 and no one knew who he was until a year later). The pic posted is of Camilla right? (I can't really tell because the pic is so small). Everyone says that's his current girlfriend but no mention of fiancee (pure speculation at this point). I'm not doubting your story, I'm just one that likes to hear it from the horses mouth. The internet is known for spreading rumors like wildfire so I don't believe everything I read. I know one thing, he needs to hurry up and release an album and hopefully tour without cancelling so many shows this go 'round.

Maxwell played seven times in NYC that summer. It was called the NY7 tour and Alicia Keys was the opening act. I caught it twice. Great shows.

Ok if you investigate on his site he did tour NYC 7 nights long and he has it in this little journal
