i mean really, she sounds no worse live than anybody out there who pretty much dances most of the time. is it that she really thinks that she's a TRUE singer that everybody hates her?

can't sing, can't dance, doesn't really have stage presence...she just has that pedigree going for her, and even that's wearing thin.

honestly, i bet the kid does have a little bit of talent, but she's being pressured into these gargantuan performances and other settings she's just not ready for. let the kid play in some coffeehouses and do some little club shows, especially if she's going for this "street urchin" thing in contrast to her sister. if she wants to play the bohemian let her play in bohemian settings and learn what it's like to be this character she wants to play out as her persona.

i think she's being shoved out there by her father, who doesn't give a shit about anything else but her making lots of money. it ain't about art or "the craft", kids. it's about making that cash. ashlee's a hooker, daddy's the pimp.

She actually sings much worse than "average", so I'm not sure elaborate choreography could save her.

I'm pretty surprised she doesn't dance much. I'm guessing it's because she is sooo "punk" that dancing wouldn't go with her "look". She began her career as a dancer and danced backup for Jessica's tours and videos. I still think she is a mediocre talent regardless and wouldn't rate her a good dancer to begin with.

Even if she danced, her face would still do nothing for her. She doesn't quite have the sex appeal like other "dancing" performers like Janet and Britney.

I don't think people dislike her because she thinks she can sing (though she can't). I think we dislike her for her ignorance and for being thrown out there by her money making parents with no training or appreciation for her very own craft. I say the girl should be forgotten soon.
