I wouldn't say I can't stand her. She's a pretty girl with a decent voice....but just a bit over-exposed. Everywhere you'd turn, there was Destiny's Child.....ooops I mean Beyonce and the backup singers. ______________________________________

Destiny's Child has been getting on my nerves lately.Besides the fact that they're overexposed,the group members have been making some absurd comments to the press.One of them was quoted as saying "We're like the Beatles!".Wtf?? And why do they have to keep going to the press,explaining that they have NOT broken up?
As for Beyonce....personally,I think she's cool and may do very well as a solo act. | |

I just don't like her fake blond hair, and her voice quality is not a favorite of mine, sounds like she's trembling when she'a singing. But I listen to Destiny's Child's songs anyway, they're alright.

I guess I don't like Beyonce because she seems superficial and fake. She seems to me like a pampered princess whose mere cries to her daddy are enough to oust members from her group. Furthermore, her songs are contradictory...
"Bills, Bills, Bills"- if you don't pay for me you're history vs. "Independent Women"- don't even THINK I can't pay for mySELF! "Say My Name"- you best not be cheating vs. "Jumpin' Jumpin'"- I'm going to leave you at home to have some fun at the club with "ballers." She probably has some good qualities (in fact I'm sure she does)- I just don't see them through her work. | |

Never really paid much attention to her, but I saw her somewhere, and saw those hips. Good lawd. Thighs, ass? Thats what I'm talking about!

O.k. Who's hatin'? Since no one likes Beyonce, nor Destiny's Child and their songs, why are they the top selling group of Columbia?
Although some of their songs may seem contradictory like 'Bills bills bills, singing about they need a man who can pay their bills to 'Independent woman' where they can do it all on their own, they do have some orginal music that stands out, and an appeal that grabs the attention of mass audiences. Besides 'Bills' came first then 'Independent woman' so maybe they then decided they didn't want a man for now, and wanted to be independent, just how a story on whole CD or a song goes sometimes. Well anyway, I think 'Independent woman', (even without the words) is a classic from beginning to end. Now my sole opinion on Beyonce is what I stated above, here fake blonde hair is a turn off, and I don't like her voice quality in particular because it sounds like she's trembling when she sings, plus, I dislike how they focus on her beauty and talent when the other girls are pretty and talented just as well, and how they make these things really obvious to everyone. It seems like the group's name 'Destiny's Child' was referring soley to Beyonce. But anyway, somebody's liking them if it ain't anyone here, so don't let me catch you dancing to their tunes one day:) I never bought their CD, just as with J.Lo, but I sing along with them whenever I hear their catchy songs playing on the radio, or when I buy a current CD hits collection that has their songs on it.
