Which Version Do You Prefer Of "If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Right" There have been so many artists that have recorded this song. For instance, Luther Ingram, Millie Jackson, Rod Stewart, Barbara Mandrell, etc. Which version is your favorite?

The Millie Jackson version is outrageous! 
"you can think of alot of things to tell a nigga when you're by yourself" whenever she re-makes a song,she usually adds her "rap",and taking it in a whole new direction. | |

Luther Ingram's for sure. I think I mentioned this elsewhere in the forum, but I grew up listening to Barbara Mandrell's version. I knew not that it was a remake. And now, I can listen only to Ingram's! | |

Millie (the original "Ms. Jackson if you're nasty") is badass for sure.
But I have to agree with RipHer and Finess that Luther Ingram has the definitive version. tA  Tribal Disorder

Check out the version that Rod Stewart did with his old group The Faces . It's on the box set that came out last year, and the cut was originally unreleased . Rod recorded this version a few years before he did it again on his solo album "Foot Loose and Fancy Free".
